Percussion Therapy

“A healthy outside starts from the inside.” - Robert Urich

Percussion therapy involves the use of handheld devices equipped with a vibrating or percussive mechanism to deliver rapid, repetitive blows or vibrations to the body's muscles and tissues. These devices typically have various attachment heads and adjustable settings to cater to different massage needs and preferences.

During percussion therapy, the device's high-frequency vibrations or percussive movements are applied to targeted areas of the body. The purpose is to stimulate blood flow, relax muscle tension, and release knots or adhesions in the soft tissues. This therapy helps to improve recovery, reduce muscle soreness, and enhance overall performance. It is effective for deep-tissue massage and may provide quick relief from muscular discomfort.

At Adept Chiropractic, our qualified healthcare professional would provide percussion therapy as a treatment option when deemed beneficial.
