Each visit length varies from patient to patient, but on average a regular adjustment visit is 15-30 minutes. Meanwhile, the first appointment generally takes longer as we go through the necessary procedures of patient intake forms/history, and appropriate orthopedic exams followed by an adjustment at the end which can last about 30-60 minutes in total. 

Yes, getting adjusted will be the last part of the visit.

If this is your first time getting an adjustment, it is normal to be nervous, especially around the neck region. Chiropractic adjustments are safe and our doctors will let you know if an adjustment at a specific region is not recommended for you. Our doctors will work with you at your comfort level to provide your care. We utilize different types of chiropractic techniques, which allow us to deliver a more gentle adjustment. At any time during any visit, feel free to let us know if you are not ready and/or do not want a specific region to be adjusted. We are more than happy to cater to each of our patient's needs.

Before making an appointment with us, we recommend you reach out to your insurance provider to confirm whether chiropractic care is covered and claimable. If covered/claimable, we will gladly provided any necessary receipts for you to claim with your insurance.

We currently accept cash, debit/credit cards, and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)/Health Savings Accounts (HSA). At Adept Chiropractic, your flexible spending account will be used like your standard debit/credit card. If any documentation is needed, we will gladly provide receipts for your visits.
